About Us
The St. Louis Tan Company, started by Todd Beckman, a St. Louis native, opened its doors in February of 1994, starting with two average sized salons. In November of that year, the company introduced its first superstore concept, providing multiple levels of tanning, which became an instant success!
The guests response to this new and innovative tanning concept resulted in record sales. The concept continued to grow and evolve and has since expanded outside of the St. Louis Market. With growth outside of our hometown, we changed the name to The Tan Company.
By the beginning of 2006, the Tan Company has grown to over 70 world class locations in 10 states with plans to expand even further in the future!
But one thing has not changed, Todd Beckman's passion and dedication to providing our guests with "5 Star" tanning facilities, world-class skin care products in the cleanest tanning environment in the country. The Tan Company Advantage

Training
