About Us
Parcel Plus® is a pack-and-ship center that provides outstanding customer service to consumers, small office/home office (SOHO) and other business owners. You usually find Parcel Plus in neighborhood shopping and strip centers with strong anchor tenants.
Besides retail pack-and-ship, we offer crating and shipping of larger cargo items. Additional revenue streams include copying, faxing, mailbox rentals and mailing services.
Parcel Plus is one of nine franchise systems that are part of the International Center for Entrepreneurial Development (ICED). We like to call it ... the ICED family. Since 1967, we've helped over 2,000 families start and own their own businesses … in fact, nearly one out of every nine domestic ICED franchisees has second-generation involvement in the family business. Many of the original owners have realized the importance of creating a business legacy to pass down to their children. The ICED family of franchises truly focuses on the family. Is Parcel Plus Right for You?
Parcel Plus center owners are customer-focused. Typically, they come from managerial backgrounds, possess solid people skills, and are comfortable training and leading employees. Parcel Plus center owners understand the importance of implementing a consistent direct marketing program. Active participation in the community through Rotary, Chambers of Commerce and other service organizations is an important role for a Parcel Plus center owner.
Training and Support
One of our most important functions is the initial and continuing training of our center owners. Training begins before arrival at our Northwest Forest campus through pre-training materials and our copyrighted video training series. It continues with trainer visits in the field, center start-up and Success Library of books, videos and cassette resources. Training is maintained through weekend seminars, weekly fax updates, monthly publications, technical bulletins, and a monthly "Action Call." All contacts are recorded in a database to ensure a rapid response and to allow any support member to view the history of your center to ensure quality ongoing support.
Our extensive initial training program is designed to prepare you to manage your center in today's competitive business environment.
