About Us

Mike 'The Ray Kroc of Crack' Kodner started The Crack Team in 1985 after spending three decades as a successful residential homebuilder. Mike Kodner developed over 2600 homes in St. Louis before entering the contracting business in the early 1980s. While specializing in high-end basement remodeling, Kodner heard repeated homeowner concerns about leaking basement cracks. Kodner was aware of an injection process that provided a permanent solution to leaking basements and, best of all, the foundation repair could be done from inside the home without extensive digging on the outside.

Kodner quickly realized the demand for this service and formed The Crack Team as an adjunct to his contracting business. His permanent and cost-effective approach to treating foundation cracks proved to be an ideal alternative to repairs that were expensive and in most cases, unnecessary.

Training and Support

The Crack Team offers support in all areas of development and growth. Prior to attending training, we will guide you through the development of your business with clearly defined objectives. Additionally, the two week training at our headquarters in St. Louis is both classroom and on the job. It covers all aspects of running the business including marketing, advertising, application of proprietary materials, accounting, personnel, and business development.

Marketing

Once your business is up and running, we continue to promote your business through national ad campaigns and call-center services. We also provide on-going assistance with marketing and public relations, technical support, and business management.
