About Us
Mile High Karate was founded over 20 years ago by Stephen Oliver. Stephen wants to let you in on a little “insider knowledge” about Mile High Karate’s sudden explosion and let you know about several possible ways that your family can participate in their growth. First, Mile High Karate is growing rapidly! Since Stephen decided to embark on a growth plan for the first time in 20 years allowing owner-operated franchised Mile High Karate schools – backed up by extensive support and training by Stephen and his senior staff – they have grown by as much as 300% in a year. Why Mile High Karate?
Mile High Karate is part of the $10.6 billion health and fitness facility industry. It is estimated that only 2% of the population (6 million people) have experienced martial arts, which leaves enormous opportunity for growth. Mile High Karate focuses primarily on the kids market - and, their parents. Demand has never been higher for developmental programs for kids 4 - 12 and, for health family activities. Training and Support
You are not required to be a Black Belt or even to have previous martial arts training to become an owner-operator.
We will assist with training for every aspect of the school operation – and, either train you to be a certified Mile High Karate teacher – or, help you find Black Belt staff to help with your school operation. We offer an intensive “bootcamp training” in both martial arts and martial arts school operations and administration.
Following your graduation from our training program Stephen helps you find and lease space for our newest school – then often with 2nd, 3rd, or 4th Degree Black Belt teaching staff from other Mile High Karate schools – embark on an exciting adventure combining entrepreneurship with a rewarding teaching career. Here are some additional highlights of the Mile High Karate franchise:
• Systems with 23 years of proven success • Comprehensive training • On-going training and support • Site selection and lease negotiation assistance • Excellent marketing and advertising support • Specialized software for finance and marketing • Strong referral business • Franchisee does not have to have martial arts experience Financial
