About Us
The Sanford Rose Associates Executive Search System, founded in 1959, is a full-service executive recruitment organization that conducts both contingent-fee and retained searches through an international network of 60 offices. Committed to providing recruiting services of the highest quality, we adhere to the highest ethical standards with maximum integrity, objectivity and confidentiality. Each SRA office specializes in particular industries and professions.
The Growing Market For Executive Search
Today more than ever, companies need people - and they can't always find them on their own. The combination of new job creation and high employee turnover has created a huge demand for highly qualified talent that cannot be met through such traditional means as promotion from within, employee referrals and advertising. With lean Human Resource staffs, companies increasingly outsource their recruiting needs. SRA's executive search franchise offers the combination of low capital investment, potentially high return on investment, strong customer demand and utmost professionalism. It's both a business and a profession you can feel proud to be a part of. Is Business Ownership Right For Me?
Although people enter the Sanford Rose Associates system for a variety of reasons, almost all of our current franchise owners had two desires in common: - To create wealth for themselves; and
- To gain greater control of their lives.
Many had worked for companies where work and travel schedules increasingly interfered with their life at home...where constant changes in strategic direction wreaked havoc with workforce morale and productivity...and where personal performance was eclipsed by corporate politics. In order to get ahead, many also found the need to uproot their families and change jobs every few years.
If you are considering business ownership as an alternative to employment, can you truthfully answer "YES" to these brief questions:
1) Are you ready to be your own boss? 2) Do your past accomplishments give you confidence that you can build a business for yourself? 3) Are you willing to invest a portion of your personal resources to make your dream come true? 4) Do you have sufficient liquidity to cover financial needs while the business is getting started? 5) Will other family members support your decision?
Training and Support
Sanford Rose Associates' in-depth training and ongoing operational support make all the difference, compared to the trial-and-error start-up of an independent recruiter.
Because we have been in the search business for forty years, we know the "tricks of the trade" and nuances of the business required to get new owners up the learning curve and making money as quickly as possible. We monitor business, economic, technological and social trends to help make sure that SRA offices meet tomorrow’s needs, not yesterday’s. We plan for tomorrow's trends, all you need worry about is today's business.
The SRA family of offices is a collegial system built on mutual trust, communication and respect. In view of the highly personal relationship that SRA International has with its franchisees, we conduct all training face-to-face – no training tapes or computerized instruction allowed. It begins at our training center in Akron and continues at the Owner's office. In addition, both new and established owners have unlimited access to telephone support – as well as regional and national training events, training bulletins, marketing materials and supplemental training as required. One highly regarded marketing tool is a bimonthly newsletter for Sanford Rose Associates clients called SRA Update.
Since we are committed to the successful growth of our offices, we also provide training at our Akron Center for their employees – with separate classes for search consultants and for research assistants. Last, while the Sanford Rose Associates system makes extensive use of computer technology, we use software and databases as sophisticated information management tools – not as ends in themselves. Accordingly, while owners and their employees should have (or obtain) a basic familiarity with Windows-based technology, they need not be computer experts. Financial
