“After completing an NVQ in Business studies aged 19 I worked in admin, sales and then a variety of management roles but really wanted to work in the field of child development,” admits Lucy Jane. “I took the first step towards this by gaining a Degree in Education Studies. My aim was to run parenting sessions and I began to write my own programme that would build up the closeness between a parent and child.” Then Lucy Jane discovered the Creation Station – an award winning and successful educationally based programme where families enjoy art and craft creativity in a fun and relaxed setting. “My life changed overnight!
