Sue, what did you do before investing in an Allergy Test franchise?

I worked as a Medical Receptionist in a GP surgery.

What do you think the benefits of franchising are?

Franchising offers a network of referrals via a National major web site. I receive a good level of support and product knowledge by receiving collective training and if I am unsure over a certain issue, I can always rely on a member of the team to offer me some advice. I have always been interested in medical care and finding ways to help people to improve their health. Allergy testing offers me the opportunity through the network to really make a difference to an individual’s health – to make them better, through an alternative method away from conventional medicine.

What support does Allergy Test UK provide you with?

As I said, I can rely upon a network of other like minded individuals who are not competing against each other. No one in the team is treated differently, we are all given as little, or as much support as we need, depending on the amount of time each of us can put into our own business.

What is your typical day like?

I can balance my life and therefore my day according to my priorities at the time. I see patients, sometimes in the evening, or at weekends if their needs dictate, but normally I try not to see more that a maximum of 4 clients in a day, as I need to make sure that I can give them as much time as they need to help them with their individual health issues.

What advice would you have for people considering an Allergy Test UK Franchise?

Make sure that this is the right choice for you. Understand that there is more to undertaking a test with a Bio-electronic Regulatory Machine. You will need to have a basic knowledge about how the body works to ensure that the patient can be advised, how to overcome their individual problems, either by offering dietary advice, or informing them what minerals or vitamins they need to balance any deficiencies found as a result of the test. All of this information is provided within the Franchise manual and support is there for each individual client from head office if required. This franchise and field of medicine is varied, interesting, rewarding and there are never two days the same.
