In the last 6 months, I have achieved something I never thought I would do. I have laid solid foundations for building my business - with a littleAngels franchise. From making that first curious telephone call and wondering what franchising was all about, I have learnt a great deal about running a successful business of my own ..... but not on my own. The support, advise, training and the encouragement given by the team is brilliant. All Angels are offered, from the first steps of training and onwards, a basic knowledge both for the business and the technical aspects of the franchise. All the details and legal documents are very clearly explained and presented. There is never at any stage any pressure - all procedures are at individual levels. This is important. Enough basic training and information is offered at the outset to get you started. This franchise is the type of job that you learn from as you go. Your confidence builds as your business grows. Your business then grows as your confidence builds!! I particularly welcomed the opportunities to discuss issues with other Angels and found this helpful. Then also to eventually meet the members of the franchise team and other franchisees was very rewarding and beneficial. This is really where we learn - from sharing other people's experiences. I like the fact that the amount of work I do is up to me. What is important is that we all offer the same great service to our clients. We offer them all the same fantastic range of products. This part of the franchise is important - I feel part of a great team that is always there to help. In return, I feel proud of both the service that we offer and also of the success that is.... littleAngels. VAL, Brighton Angel Paula Williams responded to an ad in a National newspaper in 2004 and hasn’t looked back since. With two small children, and being a full-time mum starting her own business was a huge step. However with a passion for photography, and with the experience of young children she says the littleAngels franchise was the ideal thing to do. She says “I was amazed. Head Office does so much for you, and the support I’ve received gas been fantastic right from the start. The training was extremely useful. I was shown how to set up a photographic studio, and advised on taking photos of children and how to use a digital camera. And I was also taught the administrative side of the business, including basic sales and marketing. You receive an operating manual, and I take it with me wherever I am working. If something happens that the book can’t help with I can call the Head Office team at any time for assistance.” Paula worked very hard in the first year building a good business base. The first year is tough with small reward, but due to the exciting and different products littleAngels offer to Nurseries and playgroups, there is a very large degree of repeat business which Paula is able to build upon.
