Mark worked in the automotive industry and saw a great opportunity to capitalise on the introduction of Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) when recently introduced by the Government, plus the future growth of the ‘green’ sector.
The change in legislation, which affects an estimated 3.5 million domestic and commercial properties per year, now requires all properties that are put onto the market for sale or rent to first obtain an EPC before they can be marketed. All premises which have air conditioning units will also require specific air con EPCs by early 2011 at the latest.

Boasting weekly turnover figures in excess of £5,000, Mark has proved to be one of Green Assess’s most successful initial operators and has recently employed an additional person to help him fulfill his contracted work.
