W. L. Gore & Associates has commissioned nxo to provide a branding strategy for its technically orientated fabrics division. The brand challenge is to develop a single, all encompassing brand identity for workwear fabrics, including the famous GORE-TEX® and WINDSTOPPER® fabrics as well as a number of other specialised fabrics used in sectors including emergency services, military and rail in the UK, with a view to a roll out into continental Europe.

Craig Torrie, of nxo Liverpool, and David Mapple, of nxo Lancaster, have helped judge the regional finals of the LionHeart Challenge – a National Enterprise Programme providing a highly endorsed, fully integrated package to deliver effective enterprise learning to participating schools in England. The regional finals saw 13 teams from across the nine regions of England win their way through to represent their school and regions at the National Finals. LionHeart Challenge Managing Director, Clare McDonald, said: "Craig and David’s help and involvement with The LionHeart Challenge Regional Finals made a huge difference to all the future businessmen and women who worked so hard throughout the course of The LionHeart Challenge. For the majority of these students it was their first insight into the business world and for this introduction we are very grateful for your help."
