Prestigious accreditation for Autosheen

The general manager of professional valet service specialists Autosheen has been accredited as a Licentiate of IMI (Institute of Motoring).

Adrian Stiehl has become the Licentiate based on his achievements and experience over 35 years in the motoring industry, recognising his professional expertise as a trainer within the valeting industry.

Adrian said: “It is an honour to achieve this accreditation and proves Autosheen’s professionalism and commitment to the retail motor industry. In today’s motor industry, professional credibility is really important s and membership of the IMI provides independent recognition that you operate to professional standards and are committed to a code of conduct.”

A spokesman from the Institute of Motoring said: “In an increasingly complex and highly competitive industry it’s reassuring to know who the professionals are in the retail motor sector when it comes to things like buying a vehicle, financing it and getting it looked after.”

Lesley Woolley, the IMI’s Head of Professional Development, said: “In a sector which plays such an important role in our lives and for our economy, membership of the IMI is a means of identifying those working in the retail motor industry that have shown that they really are proud to be professional.”

Membership of the IMI is awarded on the basis of a person’s qualifications and experience within the industry. It also offers a continuing professional development (CPD) programme which helps members keep up-to-date in their respective discipline.
