Isle of Man CityLocal Franchise Going Gone!

The CityLocal franchise for Isle of Man is now being launched by Richard and Karl. Richard Delaney was interested in franchise opportunities for years within the online sector and had spent a lot of his time searching for the right business. Richard says "When I came across CityLocal, it really intrigued me after seeing what else is out there".

Richard continues "CityLocal's offering is different from other opportunities. What interested me mostly was how CityLocal combined the best features from other similar directories and portal sites and  amalgamated them onto one, easy to use site. Richard's career history has been very varied. Up until 2006 he was the Offshore Sales Manager for British Telecom covering the Isle of Man, Jersey & Guernsey. Since then he changed his career path and has  owned his own landscaping company, Natural Landscapes Limited, for over 4 years.

To add to this between 2001 and 2005, he also owned a nightclub on the Isle of Man but has always have had an affinity for IT & technology hence his return to this sector.

Karl Millar, Richard's business partner in CityLocal, also has a similar background in technology. He works for the Isle of Man Government in the technology division and is a qualified engineer for Apple Computers. Previous to this Karl held another post with the Government in the Education division. Karl's sales background stems from his time with a local IT service provider almost ten years ago which was where they both met.

Richard continues "The market is very competitive and there are many choices for the customer that offers a return on investment for them. However, CityLocal is so much more than a business directory which  makes us stand out against our competitors.
