First Autosheen marine valeters launch new service

Autosheen UK Automotive franchises Traditionally best known in the automotive marketplace for their high quality valeting services, Autosheen franchisees have sailed into previously unchartered waters with a brand new marine valeting service for boats, yachts and other waterborne craft.

Rob Stobbs, Chris Schilds, Steven Hendry and new franchisee Nick Charles are the first Autosheen franchisees to extend their skills, formally qualifying as fully trained ‘marine valeters’, accredited by the independent industry body, IMI (Institute of Motoring Industry) Awards.

According to Autosheen Managing Director Paul Fennell, the marine marketplace is a substantial, virtually untapped marketplace with no real competition; however he says the strong presence in this sector of Autosheen’s parent company Farécla, world renowned surface finishing specialists, creates the perfect opportunity for the valeting specialists to extend their services to a whole new potential customer base.

“There are over half a million boats in the UK, all of which need cleaning and maintenance,” Paul says. “We have unique access to Farécla’s market leading product range, which has been developed especially for this sector and is used all over the world.
