Executives Online Signs First Franchisee |

Derek Ward is to head up Executives Online North, encompassing the Northwest, Northeast, Yorkshire and Humberside. Fifty-six year-old Ward has an exemplary background as a sales and marketing director, with most of his experience coming from the telecoms and security sectors. He has also worked as a self-employed executive, taking on several interim roles with clients and providing his own services as a consultant. He was Sales and Marketing Director for Initial Fire and Security and has an in-depth understanding of the recruitment market having witnessed it from both sides of the fence, as a candidate and as UK Group Sales Director for ADT where he was responsible for 850 sales people. "As an employer I saw plenty of shoddy recruitment agencies," he comments. "But as a candidate with Executives Online I got the inside track on exactly how the company operates and I really liked their approach.
