Antal Based in London, has been crowned one of the UK’s brightest franchisors by The British Franchise Association after being short-listed in the Express Newspapers Brand Builder category in this year’s Franchisor of the year awards.

Now Antal is hoping judges will name it Overall Winner in its category at a glittering gala luncheon at London‘s Savoy Hotel on Thursday 18th May.

In addition, the company is also eligible for the HSBC Award for Enterprise, which will be honouring the franchisor that has been most creative in its business strategy.

The Awards, sponsored by the Daily Express and HSBC Bank, are designed to showcase the UK’s best performing franchisors in a booming industry now employing more than 327,000 people and worth an annual £10 billion to the economy.

One of the most effective ways of maintaining this open exchange is through regular conference calls. Antal is now represented in 26 countries worldwide and each office is encouraged to dial into the central hub to allow comprehensive sharing of information – supplying local knowledge that can improve the performance of other offices and the network as a whole. An Annual Conference also helps Brand Building, encouraging better communication as well as delivering training and business development initiatives. Last years conference was attended by more than 200 delegates, representing 50 Nationalities and speaking 80 languages or dialects. Launched in 2002, Antal now has 56 franchise outlets, with a further 14 scheduled for this year. Franchisor turnover has passed £275,000, while the network figure for 2005 was £1.25 million.
