Why did you choose a Rainbow Franchise? We invested in Rainbow to grow a real business and that’s what I was determined to do. It was hard work, long hours, and a few sleepless nights, but with the support a franchisee gets from Rainbow's head office, I managed to cope and now we, my team, are all reaping the benefits. How did Rainbow help you? Rainbow International say, right at the start, that they promise nothing that they cannot provide. They claim nothing about the franchise that isn’t true. They even provide masses of national accounts, generating work through the sales department for the network of franchisees in the insurance claims industry, cleaning up after accidents in the home and fire and flood disasters. "It’s a massive marketplace we operate in, that’s another reason why we chose Rainbow International for our future welfare." What does your role as a franchisee entail? As a Franchisee I support the contracts that have been generated by the company with insurance companies and loss adjusters, providing a valuable service to their policyholders, both in the domestic and commercial sector. How big is your business? When I started it was very small. I have worked proactively in and around my franchised area operating within the criteria and system laid down by the Franchisor and am now in my fourth year. We are aiming for a 50% increase in sales and profit and have been building year on year steadily, enabling me to build up equipment to support the work we do, increase staff levels and also buy more vehicles. What are your plans for the future? To help a franchisee grow, the Franchisor encourages a franchisee to acquire additional areas. Having worked hard on our initial area I am now investing in a second, which I have serviced for Rainbow since December 2004. Whilst reinvesting in the business, as I have in the past years, I am committed to building my franchise to a realistic and achievable objective, £1million in sales. Do you enjoy it? I Love it! Making people happy again after a disaster to their home or business. Gardening, mostly holidays, crosswords spending time with my family and Grandchildren. I have 4 grandsons and two granddaughters.
