Becoming a Snack-in-the-Box representative means that you will be joining a team almost 100 franchisees across the UK and Ireland, delivering snack products and drinks to small and medium businesses, whilst servicing your own exclusive territory.
Partnered with Mars, Walkers and Britvic, Snack-in-the-Box franchisees are able to offer a wide selection of the nation’s favourite crisps, drinks and confectionery products. Snack-in-the-Box is a part of SnackTime plc, the UK’s 3rd largest vending company, and has been a full member of the British Franchise Association (BFA) for 16 years.

Snack-in-the-Box franchisees are responsible for a unique local territory of customers which are comprised of small to medium workplaces such as offices, showrooms, factories, warehouses, retail outlets etc. Each customer has a vending machine or honesty snack box on their site which franchisees will refill, ensure is presentable and working properly, and then remove the cash takings. It’s as simple as that.
In order to grow their business within their territory franchisees will also need to dedicate a portion of their time to canvassing new businesses. Snack-in-the-Box will provide you with all of the tools you need to begin canvassing sites, from in-house and on-site training, to marketing materials and support. Even if you have absolutely no previous sales experience you will soon find yourself placing boxes and machines with ease.
All of the Snack-in-the-Box products, from vending machines to boxes, are presented to customer sites free of charge, there is absolutely no setup cost and no contract to sign, they simply pay for what they eat and drink. This means that franchisees are able to promote a service rather than try to sell a product.
A Typical Week:

In order to maximise your investment, franchisees should be available and committed to work Monday to Friday, 9am until 5pm.
Four days a week you will be out and about in your van visiting customer sites and servicing their vending machine or snack box and collecting the cash. Franchisees are able to offer a range of vending solutions to ensure the best fit for each customer site depending on their size, profile and requirements. Typically a franchisee will visit around 20 customers a day in their local area. This will involve driving around in your Mars branded van stocked with confectionery, crisps, snacks and drinks.
One hour a day, after your customer site visits, will be spent at home preparing stock and organising your van for the following day. Franchisees are encouraged to develop good relationships with their customers as this has been proven to reap rewards when it comes to revenues and ensuring there are no cash shortages.
One day per week (typically Fridays) will be spent working from home completing paperwork, counting and banking cash, receiving deliveries, and analysing your customers’ performance via your business tracker tool.
Stock consists of confectionery, crisps, snacks and drinks which you order from approved suppliers, many of which offer preferential pricing and free delivery, and is then delivered direct to you. Sufficient storage space such as a garage is required to hold your stock and prepare your deliveries.
