Our Service

Wagging Tails provides dog owners with a home from home boarding alternative to kennels. Our aim is to ensure that the process of leaving your dog behind when you are away is as stress free as possible and that your dog gets a holiday at the same time as you do!

We have a team of experienced past and present dog owners who have been assessed by Wagging Tails, are licensed by their local councils (where applicable) and are fully insured to board dogs. Wagging Tails carers welcome our owners pets into their family for the duration of the holiday and give them all the love and attention they are used to in their own home providing them with their very own doggy holiday!

With the success that we have enjoyed to date, and word of mouth providing us with new customers, we feel that we have found and developed a great business that can be duplicated in your local community. With Wagging Tails continuing to grow as more and more people use our special service we are looking to take on local franchisees to replicate and grow our business.

What we look for in a Franchisee

Our business is simple to understand and built upon happy relationships with like minded people who love dogs. We offer the opportunity for our network of carers and new franchise owners to build long term relationships with owners and their dogs. We require people with the ability and drive to replicate our business where they live.

Clearly a love of dogs is a must and anyone interested in becoming a franchisee should have experience of owning their own dog; preferably being a current dog owner. We are looking at franchising as a method of promoting the brand within local communities so knowledge of the area you live in and a willingness to promote yourself and build relationships with dog owners at a local level is an essential requirement.

Working as a Franchisee

Taking on a Wagging Tails franchise will give you a varied working day. Walking dogs and looking after your own boards, interviewing and taking on carers, speaking to and reassuring owners, taking bookings, maintaining an organised diary, advertising and promoting the business and keeping the accounts in order are all par t and parcel of running this business. It makes for a varied and highly rewarding working day: all possible from your own home! 

Wagging Tails Support & Training

Becoming a Wagging Tails Franchisee means 'support' and lots of it! It is important to us that each franchisee firstly understands the business as well as we do, and secondly operates the business with the care and attention to detail that makes for happy dogs and owners. From our very first meeting to discuss the franchise to the start of your new business we are mindful that you will need support, training and mentoring throughout the process.

We believe in being very open with communication and advice. We understand that you may encounter difficulties (we have walked the path that you are about to take – usually with Izzie and Bailey by our side!) and are always on hand to answer your questions and help overcome any problems that may arise.
