The Cherry Tree is a family run business that has been operating since 1997. Cherry Tree sells a range of award winning pickles, chutneys, jams and marmalades at local farmers markets and direct to the Trade.

Initially, we started out by creating recipes and making the produce ourselves. The overwhelming demand for Cherry Tree produce proved difficult to meet so we undertook an exclusive deal with Forest Products to supply their range of award winning products. Forest Products has produced the finest quality hand made jams, specialty preserves, chutneys, sauces and confectionary for over 20 years. Priding itself on the high quality of its produce, Forest Products has proven that it is the market leader, with 28 awards won in 2007 alone (9 gold, 11 silver and 8 bronze) for their produce at The Great Taste Awards.

There are two main customer groups for Cherry Tree products, Retail and Trade.

Retail:
Cherry Tree franchisees will sell a range of exclusive products on market stalls at country markets, continental markets, local town markets and country shows.

Trade:
Cherry Tree franchisees will also sell the range of exclusive products direct to trade customers. The trade customers will include:

Restaurants; Pubs; Hotels; B&B’s; Delicatessens; Butchers; and other retail outlets.

Franchisees will receive comprehensive training in all aspects of the business including understanding how the products are made, how to sell to the general public and to the trade, how to market their business, and how to run a successful and profitable Cherry Tree business.

No previous selling or food experience required.

The Total Investment of £10,250 plus VAT includes everything a Franchisee will need to set-up and run their business and includes:

5 year renewable licence to operate as a Cherry Tree Franchisee
Exclusive territory
£2,000 initial launch marketing campaign
£2,000 of initial stock
£1,000 of promotional marketing material
Branded Cherry Tree uniform
Personalised section on the Cherry Tree website
Comprehensive Operations Manual
Head Office and local training
Bespoke Cherry Tree market stall
Allowance for office and computer equipment
£2,000 of working capital

At The Cherry Tree we believe that franchising is a true partnership and that we should only succeed if our franchisees succeed, therefore there is no Management Services Fee or National Marketing Levy. We make a small mark-up on the exclusive products supplied to the franchisee. Therefore we only succeed if you succeed.
